Non-sensitive data such as dining records, shared photos, and app preferences are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (Convex) to enable cross-device access and sharing features.
All data in cloud storage is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
AI Features and Data Processing
Our AI features process data securely. Menu descriptions and images are processed using encrypted connections and are not stored permanently unless you choose to save them.
We do not use your scanned dishes, food preferences, or dining history to train our AI models. Your personal culinary data remains private and is never used for machine learning purposes.
Subscription and Payment Information
If you subscribe to premium features, payment information is processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or have access to your payment details.
Subscription status is stored securely and used only to enable premium features in the app.
Camera and Photo Access
LeTASTE requires camera access to scan menus and dishes. All images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share content.
You can revoke camera access at any time through your device settings.
Third-Party Services and Data Usage
We use Convex, a secure cloud database service, to store non-sensitive data. All data is encrypted and protected according to industry standards.
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not use your dining records, food preferences, or any personal data to train AI models or for any commercial purposes beyond providing our services.

- Opt out of non-essential data collection
Children's Privacy
LeTASTE is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
